Telemedicine Veterinary Consulting Services are available for second opinions or to assist with interpretations of echocardiograms, ECG’s, thoracic radiographs, Holter and event monitors.  Services are available throughout the United States, Monday through Saturday (excluding holidays) from 7 AM to 7 PM PST.  Diagnostics are usually interpreted within 72 hours with a typed, emailed report or within 48 hours if a STAT service is selected.

Dr. Saelinger received a BS in animal bioscience from Pennsylvania State University and a  VMD from the University of Pennsylvania.  She then completed a one-year rotation internship at the University of Florida followed by a cardiology internship and cardiology residency at Louisiana State University. 

Dr. Saelinger’s clinical interests include : medical and surgical treatment of arrhythmia, implantable cardiovertor defibrillator (ICD) placement, programming and defibrillation, optimizing pacemaker programing for individual canine patients: and pathophysiology and treatment of arrhythmia right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) for Boxers and English Bulldogs.

Dr. Saelinger is the founder and CEO of CardiacVet and the department head of Cardiology at the Animal Specialty and Emergency Center of Los Angeles California.

Dr. Allen earned a B.S. degree in animal sciences and a DVM from Louisiana State University.  She completed a one-year rotating internship at the University of Florida, a one-year cardiology internship in Las Angeles and a three-year cardiology residency at Oregon State University after which she became board certified in cardiology.
 
Dr. Allen enjoys all aspects of clinical cardiology with a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.  
 
Dr. Allen is originally from New Orleans but currently considers Los Angeles home.

Dr. Forney earned a B.S. degree in biochemistry and molecular biology and a veterinary degree from the University of Georgia.  He obtained his board certification in 2009.
 
Dr. Forney’s clinical interests include medical management of chronic heart disease, echocardiography and client and veterinary education.  
 
Dr. Forney is originally from Martinez, Georgia but currently resides in Boulder City, Nevada and works as a clinical cardiologist at the Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center.
Veterinary Consultant Dr. Riman Kharbush

Dr. Kharbush received her undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2016.  After pursuing rotating and cardiology internships in Albuquerque and Los Angeles, she completed her residency in cardiology at the Animal Medical Center in New York City.  In 2021 she obtained board certification.
 
Dr. Kharbush’s clinical interests include treating cardiac emergencies, clinical utilization of echocardiography, optimizing chronic heart failure therapy and performing minimally invasive interventional procedures to treat congenital and acquired diseases.  She also has a particular interest in the advancement of feline medicine.  
 
Dr. Kharbush is originally from Madison, Wisconsin but currently resides in Minnesota where she works as a clinical cardiologist at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center of Minnesota.
